Sydney Sixers are a franchise in Australia's newly announced Twenty20 cricket competition, the Big Bash League.
Along with the Sydney Thunder, the Sixers will be the successors of the New South Wales Blues who played in the now-defunct KFC Twenty20 Big Bash.
The Sixers will represent eastern Sydney and their home ground will be the Sydney Cricket Ground while the Thunder will play out of ANZ Stadium in Sydney's west.
