Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) got on the Indian Premier League (IPL) points table, defeating Delhi Daredevils by 15 runs on Saturday at Bengaluru.

Delhi lost despite Rishabh Pant’s brave 57. The youngster lost his father just a couple of days ago. Chasing RCB's gettable total of 157/8, DD managed only 142 for 9 off 20 overs.

Pant was the only one to show some amount of character, but the rest of the batting struggled. The RCB bowling was good, but DD batsmen should have done better.

RCB, on the other hand, were guided by Kedar Jadhav, whose hit a brilliant 69 from 37 balls. Missing Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, they were hoping for Chris Gayle to click, but he made only 24 runs. Jadhav hit five sixes and as many fours to singlehandedly keep RCB ahead.

For DD, the fast bowlers did well. South African all-rounder Chris Morris claimed 3/21 in a brilliant spell of four overs, while Zaheer Khan picked two wickets and Pat Cummins one.
