Australia led by Michael Clarke have won the toss and are going to bat first against Pakistan in the Group A Match at Gros Islet. Pakistan are under no pressure having defeated Bangladesh comprehensively yesterday at this same venue. They have stuck with the same winning combination. The Pakistani batsmen will have a tough challenge today against the express trio of Dirk Nannes, Mitchell Johnson and Shaun Tait. There could be plenty of short pitch deliveries aimed at the bodies.

The pitch is expected to be on the slower side which will be exploited by the Pakistanis for sure through their spinners though there won't be much turn available. For the Aussie bowlers, they could get some lift by hitting the deck hard with their strong shoulders. With the ground being a big one and the outfield being heavy, a total of 160 should be on par.
