Victoria had a cakewalk victory of 8 wickets with 40 balls to spare against a weak Wayamba at the SuperSport Park in Centurion. Batting first after winning the toss, Wayamba collapsed to 106 all out in 16.3 overs with six players scoring a duck and only two overall making double figures! Barring a 72-run stand for the 3rd wicket between Opener Mahela Jayawardene (51 from 40 balls with 7 fours and a six) and Skipper Jehan Mubarak (44 from 30 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes), Wayamba's innings was in total shambles. Fast bowler Peter Siddle wrecked them apart with 4 for 29 in his four overs.

Victoria eased to the target in 13.2 overs with opener Aaron Finch scoring 38* (from 36 balls) in the company of Skipper David Hussey, who stayed unbeaten with 47 from 28 balls (with 4 fours and 2 sixes). Siddle got the Man of the Match.
