India decide venues for upcoming home series vs England, West Indies

The Eden Gardens in Kolkata that lost out on the India-England game during the World Cup because of construction delays will host the two teams for a one-day international when England tour India later this year, the BCCI announced on Saturday.

The Programme and Fixtures Committee met here to decide the venues for the upcoming home series against England and West Indies that will be played from October to December.

The ODIs against England will be played at Kolkata, Mumbai, Mohali, Hyderabad and Delhi. Kolkata will also host the one-off T20 International against England and a Test against the West Indies.

Mumbai and Delhi will host the other two Tests against the Windies.

The sequence of matches, dates and venues of the ODI series against West Indies, will be announced later, the BCCI said in a statement.
