Pakistan have handed places in their Test squad to play the West Indies to wicket-keeper Mohammad Salman and all-rounder Hammad Azam.

Pakistan have handed places in their Test squad to play the West Indies to wicket-keeper Mohammad Salman and all-rounder Hammad Azam.

Both players have impressed in the ongoing One-Day International series and Salman's inclusion means that neither Adnan or Kamran Akmal are included.

Misbah-ul-Haq, who led the side to a 1-0 series win in New Zealand earlier this year, will continue as captain while experienced players Younus Khan and Umar Gul return having been rested for the ODIs.

The first Test begins on 12th May in Providence before the second Test starts on 20th May in Saint Kitts.
