Virat Kohli: The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain has been by far the most consistent batsman in the event. In 8 matches so far, he has already amassed an impressive tally of 541 runs at a strike rate of 144.65. He has two hundreds and four fifties to his name at an average of 90.16 with a best of 108 not out.

David Warner: Another captain is at number two. In nine matches, he has smashed 458 runs at a strike rate of 164.15. He has five fifties to his name at an average of 65.42 and a best of 92.

Ajinkya Rahane: Rising Pune Supergiants may be struggling, but Rahane has been the most consistent performer for the team. In 10 matches, he has scored 417 runs at a strike rate of 130.72. He has six fifties to his name at an average of 52.12, with a best of 74.

Gautam Gambhir: The Kolkata Knight Riders skipper has 398 runs to his name in 10 games, at a strike rate of 122.46. Gambhir has scored four fifties at an average just under 50, with a best of 90 not out.

Rohit Sharma: This certainly has been a series for batting captains. Mumbai Indians’ leader Rohit is at number five with 388 runs at a strike rate of 137.58. Rohit is averaging 55.42 with five fifties, and a best of 85 not out.

Robin Uthappa: The Kolkata opener has done a decent job, with 327 runs in 10 matches at a strike rate of 135.68. Uthappa has three fifties to his name at a slightly disappointing average of 32.70, and a best of 72.

AB de Villiers: Apart from Kohli, de Villiers has been one of the better performers for Bangalore, although his form has petered away after a bright start. In eight matches, he has 321 runs to his name at a strike rate of 161.30. De Villiers has scored three fifties at an average of 40.12 with a best of 83.

Shikhar Dhawan: After a poor start, Dhawan has recovered well. In nine games, he has 310 runs to his name at a strike rate of 116.54. Dhawan has scored three fifties at an average of 62 with a best of 82 not out.

Quinton de Kock: The Delhi Daredevils openers has scored 297 runs at a strike rate of 149.24. In eight matches, he has one hundred and two fifties to his name at an average 42.42 with a best of 108.

Ambati Rayudu: The Mumbai batsman completes the top ten list for now. After 10 games, he has 277 runs at a strike rate of 124.21. Rayudu has scored two fifties at an average of 30.77 with a best of 65.
