The Board of Cricket for India has made certain changes since the start of the Year. BCCI has created a roadmap for the upcoming ODI World Cup in 2023 which will be hosted in India, during the review meeting with Rahul Dravid (head coach), and Chetan Sharma (chief selector) which took place on 1st January 2023.

BCCI has scheduled a meeting on 1st January 2023, with Head Coach Rahul Dravid, Captain Rohit Sharma, NCA Chairman VVS Laxman, ex chief selector Chetan Sharma, and Board President Roger Binny. During the meeting they have shortlisted 20 players for the approaching ODI World Cup.

Former Indian cricketer Roger Binny could replace Sourav Ganguly as BCCI President. He is the frontrunner in the race while the nominations for the post are invited on October 11 and October 12. The last date to withdraw the nominations is October 14 while the scrutiny of the nominations is learned to be conducted on October 13. The elections are scheduled to be held on October 18 for the post of president, vice-president, secretary, joint secretary and treasurer.
