Defending champions Mumbai Indians suffered a third straight defeat after losing against Chennai Super Kings in the 13th match of IPL 7 at Dubai. The CSk victory was well set up by its bowlers especially Mohit Sharma who claimed 4 for 14 in 4 overs.
Mumbai Indians struggled to reach 141 for 7 after deciding to bat first. Chennai Super Kings chased down the runs with an over to spare with 7 wickets in hand. Thanks to a ferocious start of 57 in 6.2 overs, CSK were cruising along to victory. However, a couple of wickets got Mumbai Indians back in the contest.
Brendon McCullum kept his cool to guide CSK to the victory line with an unbeaten knock of 71 from 53 balls with 8 fours and 2 sixes. Skipper MS Dhoni helped himself to 14* from 11 balls which included a superb six off Malinga.
Toss and Teams: Mumbai Indians have won the toss and opted to bat first in Match 13 of IPL 7 against the Chennai Super Kings at Dubai. This is the 100th game for both MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma for their respective teams.
Mumbai Indians have made one change with CM Gautam replacing Jasprit Bumrah while CSK are unchanged.
